Northeast Elementary School

Northeast Elementary School is a public elementary school in Jackson Public Schools (JPS) serving Y5 (Young 5s) through 5th grade with a focus on STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art Math) education and individualized support for students. The school emphasizes academic success, social-emotional learning and partnership with families and the community. Sandra Martin is the principal.

The school offers a range of family resources including enrollment forms, student handbooks, bus routes and breakfast/lunch menus, and maintains communication through calendars, news and staff directories. Teachers work in teams to support students academically and behaviorally through a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS).
